The Terrafugia flying car is a concept designed by a Chinese owned company based in the United States. The designed concept have been introduced to the public for some time now. Here is what we know about the car: It has an autonomous system, meaning it is fully auto pilot. And you can simply tell it where to go. The airplane will fly itself. The vehicle/aircraft is equipped with 2 electric motors and a 300hp engine to recharge the batteries for the motor. While in flying mode, the Terrafugia will travel north of 200 miles per hour and go as far as 500 miles in range. This vehicle is really a car, helicopter and airplane in one. You have 2 engines and motors that will stand straight vertically and lift you up like a rotor in an helicopter, and then once in cruise, those same motor changes position and faces forward for better thrust and faster cruise like in an airplane. You barely need a run way for takeoff or landing
