 This engine was producing  1520hp.It was a liquid-cooled 12-cylinder engine. It was used to power the P51 mustang, Supermarine spitfire, and Aero  Lancaster among others. It was produced in England in 1936. It was  part of the evolution of the aircraft engine

Daimler Benz 601-1E

The DB 600/A/B engine delivery began in 1935, This was a supercharged inverted V12 rated at 1000shp.it incorporated direct fuel injection and a variable-speed supercharger. Power ratings of the 601 ranged from1100shp to2770shp. This aircraft powered the Messerschmitt Bf 109f, Bf 110Fj-01/02/03 aircraft among others.
