3. UNUSUAL ATTITUDES


Unusual attitudes is practiced to teach you on how to use your instrument to fly the airplane. Assuming you’re just a VFR pilot, if you ever find yourself in a situation where outside view is completely gone. You are taught to trust and depend on your instrument to fly and navigate the aircraft.
To simulate unusual attitude, you’re asked to where a hood over your eyes during flight. This will obscure you’re outside view, so all you see is what’s in the cockpit (your instrument).
