Ugly Betty was NEVER ugly, and Ryan Piers Williams agreed with us. America Ferrera met Williams when he casted her in a student film at USC. Dream big young filmmakers! The pair have a son together, and are still actively working. America now stars in Superstore and Williams is a multi-hyphenate who most recently wrote and directed X/Y.
